Piranha™ hard food disposer
Blades rotate continuously throughout the wash cycle to grind and pulverize food particles to pass through the drain system. Theses blades are stainless steel and resist rust.

HotStart™ option
Preheats water and dishes to the optimal wash temperature before the main wash cycle. Most dishwashers require a minimum of 120˚F inlet water temperature at the dishwasher to effectively clean dishes and dissolve detergents. GE dishwashers equipped with HotStart™ are designed to clean dishes using inlet water temperatures as low as 95˚F.

100% water filtration
There are two filters that make up this feature and prevent soils from redepositing on dishware. A coarse filer filters larger food particles while the ExtraFine™ helix flow filter filters soils as small as 1/100th of an inch. Two holes in the bottom of the lower spray arm keep water flowing continually through the filtration system to keep water clean.
